Chat with SouBoyy: Sanjay Saraf over luncheon at Taj Bengal

This was the most busiest Sunday ever in Kolkata, since I came back from Dubai. Ankit and Prerna invited me on behalf of Sanjay Saraf for a luncheon at Taj Bengal. The lunch was a gourmet’s delight and prior to that there was a brief discussion on whether technology is aiding the education system or it is replacing teachers world-wide. When I asked Sanjay about his views, he tells me, “Sou, in this era of globalisation, it is quintessential for students to think beyond national boundaries and regulations and adopt fresh courses/ tools/ methodologies to compete, excel and carve out a niche for themselves. If a student can’t learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn!…” I could not agree more with Sanjay. Learning should be fun. I left from Taj Bengal, post-lunch to attend the closing of a film festival. I wish Sanjay and his team, all the best for their innovative endeavour of making learning fun for the children.
