Where are you now SouBoyy?

I at my gym, Golds Gym SaltLake, where I hardly go for work-out once in a blue-moon (coz I am a lazy bong)…before you conclude, I am invited by Rahul and Neha from Khusiyaan Events to meet the Box Cricket League team…especially the Kolkata Baabu Moshayes…and I was met with a pleasant surprise!

What was the surprise SouBoyy?

I bumped into my old friend Rakesh Ravikant Tak from Mumbai…we were literally surprised to see each other in Kolkata…last time he called me was when I was in Dubai and he said he is in his post-production phase of his film VIDWA which delves into a widow’s rights to fall in love and stand for her rights…a lot of memories jumped back suddenly, Rakesh is an amazing cook, during my college days (way back in 2009 in Mumbai) when I used to stay in Bandra alone, and we used to hang-out together…we would come back in his apartment in Andheri (very late, as we both were party animals) and even if I would feel hungry at 2am, Rakesh would cook some amazing Indian dish at that hour…More than a talented director and the team manager of Kolkata Baabu Moshayes, he is a great human being which also reflects in his work, such as VIDWA which delves into a very sensitive issue about women’s rights…

Who else did you meet SouBoyy?

I met the entire vibrant team of Kolkata Baabu Moshayes, but unfortunately in Mumbai, ‘fashion’ was my core beat, I hardly did ‘television’…Rakesh introduced me to his entire team – Nivedita Basu, Karan Mehra, Sudeepa Singh, Salil Acharya, Hiten Tejwani, Sumeet Sachdev, Amit Sarin, Abhinav Shukla, Karan Kundra, Dimple Jhangiani, Ankita Lokhande, Sayantani Ghosh, Meghna Naidu, Alok Narula…We chatted about their practices and their pranks for one another…and their naughty little secrets, and their whatsapp group chats, and crazy jokes…the team seems to be in great spirit and all ready to hit the ball :p
