CHAT WITH SOU BOYY: BEBO ON SINGHAM RETURNS

I am escaping Dubai’s heat for a short refreshing break in Calcutta to savour the romantic monsoon, and my iPhone rings as my old PR friends Prerna & Ankit from Media Connect invites me to meet the cast of Singham Returns at ITC Sonar, Kolkata. Previously, I met Bebo in Dubai while she used to come for her movie promotions. In Dubai, she once said to me, “Sou, before there were just few reporters and we used to have great bonding with journalists. Now, media has expanded vastly and that has affected the celeb-journo relationship immensely. It’s not that close and personal now…” So, when I met Bebo at ITC Sonar Kolkata, she was promoting her latest movie Singham Returns with Ajay (Devgn), both being from my college, we used to see them in our college fest too. I and Bebo chatted about her latest film, “Sou, in Golmal series, I was like one of the heroes. In Singham Returns, I am playing a Marathi girl for the first time. Besides that, I feel comfortable and protected with male testosterone (Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty) around me. They are both dear friends and we have done two of my career’s big hits together…” I cannot agree more with Bebo. And Bebo looked gorgeous that evening, you actually fall in love with the beautiful diva. I wish Bebo, Ajay, Rohit, Mayank (Tandon) and the entire Singham Returns team a huge success 🙂
