COMING SOON: NIFT KOLKATA’S GRADUATION SHOW & CONVOCATION CEREMONY

Nomoskar Kolkata Theke! (Bonjour à Calcutta!) I am currently here in Calcutta for the 2013 Graduation Show and Convocation Ceremony of National Institute of Fashion Technology (Kolkata) at The Park Hotel, Park Street on 28th June 2013. As previously blogged, the chief guest is Subrata Gupta from the Ministry of Textiles and our very own favourite Kiran Uttam Ghosh will be one of the guests of honour. They have fascinating installations of exclusive textile products from 4.30pm and an enthralling AV presentation of Industry based projects, followed by Convocation 8pm onwards at Pine Hall, Rose Wood Hall. I am thrilled to be back in Kolkata. The last time I visited this beautiful city was in February 2013 with my friend Lane Rasberry. The weather is beyond amazing… much better than other muggy metros, that’s for sure.
