London Fashion Week 2013: Day 2’s Runaway Highlights!

Today’s Rock Vault opening event celebrates the AW13 collections and unveils the ‘red carpet earring’ from London’s most innovative fine jewellery talent. Sponsored by the International Palladium Board and curated by Stephen Webster. This morning’s Estethica Champagne Reception will celebrate the AW13 designer collections with special guest Veja. “A friend of mine used to say “London is like a garden” and it’s still a garden for me. The best ideas come from here, the best people come from here and my best friends are here”. Manolo Blahnik CBE tells us about his bespoke print for LFW AW13, plus there’s catwalk highlights from day 1 at the shows and Sophie Ellis-Bextor shares her thoughts on the influence of the catwalk on high street fashion.

Samantha Cameron hosted a reception at 10 Downing Street to launch London Fashion Week AW13 with Natalie Massenet MBE, Chairman of the British Fashion Council. Guests included Anna Wintour OBE, Manolo Blahnik CBE & Nicole Farhi CBE.
